I've been waiting for my team to get back to me with their comments from our wonderful C'est si Bon Cooking Event, but I guess they're all back into the grind! Besides myself, which you know how perfect I thought everything was!, following is a comment from one of my team members:
'This was one of the best team building activities I have participated in. I don't cook, at all, so I was a little nervous, but it was fun! I also learned about baking and overall it was a great experience.'
Thanks again Dorette!
our chefs are proud to offer four different programs
- gourmet basket
- iron chef competition
- culinary collaboration
- pasta aficionado
please allow three hours per event. select day or evening times, call to discuss. 919-942-6550
programs allow 20 minutes of socializing with the chefs over some fun culinary icebreakers. following this, we orient to the kitchen, include safety tips and outline challenges of the event. next the group as a whole is divided into teams responsible for a particular course of the meal. the teams then work with basic ingredients to create a four star meal. and now comes the reward for your efforts; sitting at the table in the glass enclosed french style dining room to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
fees begin at $85/person for the above programs

My little group really enjoyed their Iron Chef experience—they were still talking about it at dinner last night. You were the "hit" of the day! The entire experience was so much fun! And, rather surprising. I think we all were amazed with what we were able to cook in such a short time. Even more surprising, we didn't kill anyone . . . the possibility of sharp knives with this group has kept me up many nights . . .
It was really nice of you and your fellow judges to find a category for each group to "win." When I told the group what we were going to do for our team building yesterday morning, I saw absolute "fear" in some of their faces. Winning a category made everyone feel special. . . .
I don't know about the others, but I'm actually going to TRY to cook at home now. The sauce was fantastic—and it wasn't at all difficult to make. This, coming from a woman whose idea of cooking is stopping by the local Whole Foods and getting take out . . .
Thank you for making our team building so much fun!
3. culinary collaboration event focuses on the execution of a 3 or 4 course menu. more straightforward. less "out of the box" creativity than gourmet basket. please write for more information

4. for our pasta aficionado event roll up your sleeves to create a meal both rustic and robust! roll pasta, knead rosemary into focaccia, wash salad greens and herbs; then churn gelato, bake litttle biscotti or amaretti cookies.
in keeping with simplicity, pasta aficiando is a vegetarian event.
